Daily Paintings

Back in August 2018 I committed to doing an 8×6 painting on a daily basis for the next year, with all the paintings donated to the Dockyard Arts Centre, who would sell them for $86 each with all the revenue going directly to the Arts Centre.
The project is finished now, 365 paintings delivered to the Arts Centre, they have sold a few hundred of them so far and the remainder are now being sold pre-framed for $100 each.
I was often asked whether it was a pain to do, but no I enjoyed it, it became a part of my daily routine, I was free to experiment to try different ways to use gouache, which I had settled on as my medium of choice and generally explore the making of small opaque paintings.
I am still doing a daily but they are a little larger and possibly a little more considered.
The most recent ones will be going into a three person show that I am doing with Jonah Jones and Charles Knights.
The paintings below are a random selection (all sold)
The complete collection can be seen on the Dockyard Arts Centre site.
